  • Portraits altered via digital manipulation

In neighborhood studios, it was common practice to provide a jacket and a tie to walk-in customers as well as a variety of painted backgrounds ranging from simple pattern to landscapes. In the digital era, those backgrounds are often computer generated and photographers have them ready on CDs containing elegant headless bodies, on which the client’s face can be easily pasted. In other formats the client’s face may be enhanced with various hairdos, a choice of hats, beret and turban, as well as different colored frames.
The following pictures combine digital enhancement to the portraits previously showed.
