Tendance Floue at Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain

From April 20 to September 24, 2017
Thirty years after the exhibition Hommage à Ferrari, the Fondation Cartier will once again focus its attention on the world of cars with the exhibition Autophoto dedicated to photography’s relationship to the automobile. Organized in series, it will bring together 500 works made by 100 historic and contemporary artists from around the world including Jacques-Henri Lartigue, Lee Friedlander, Rosângela Renno and Yasuhiro Ishimoto.

Tendance Floue is present in this exhibition through three pieces :
● “Nationale Zéro – Bornes”, Tendance Floue, 2017
Specifically created for the exhibition, this video installation is a declension of the colelctive project Nationale Zéro, a road trip through the European Union of 2004. More info
● “American Dream”, Sylvie Meunier and Patrick Tourneboeuf Photography, 2017
This wonderful collection of amateur snapshots assembled by Sylvie Meunier and Patrick Tournebœuf delightfully revisits one of the iconic motifs of the American Dream: the automobile, that pure object of desire. More info
● “Echoes of Dust and Fracturing”, Alain Willaume, 2012
An ode to the infinite grace of the roads in semi-arid Karoo area of South Africa. More info
